Mrs Theresa Bung
Principal Therapist

Theresa is the principal therapist at FLS and is a member of the Singapore Association of Counsellors, an Associate Member of the Association for Marital and Family Therapy (Singapore) and also a member of the Satir Centre (Singapore).  With more than 17 years of clinical experience, Theresa specializes in couple and family therapy on issues of conflicts, divorce and expectations and works with individuals on stress management, depression, anxiety, grief. elderly care and anger management. Theresa is a much sought-after speaker and provides counselling to schools and trains and provides clinical supervision to FLS para-counsellors,  and work with students from tertiary institutions. Theresa is a certified administrator of the “PREPARE/ENRICH program”, a customized couple assessment program which assists couples who are preparing for marriage.  She has been married for 29 years.

Mrs Sue Richmond
Consultant Therapist

Sue has over 25 years of counselling experience with individuals, couples and families.  She has been a full-time senior Counselling Therapist at Family Life Society (FLS) for almost 21 years with the last 10 years as Principal Therapist.  Sue is a Clinical Member  of the Association for Marital and Family Therapy (Singapore)as well as a Member of  its Executive Committee.  She is an educator and regularly conducts talks for FLS’ School Family Education (SFE) programs in the areas of counseling and family relationships.  Bilingual in English and Mandarin, Sue is also involved in clinical supervision for the FLS counselling and para-counselling teams.

Mr Vijoo George
Therapist

A graduate in psychology from the SIM University, Vijoo is a trained Certified Reality Therapist and Solution-Focused Counsellor. Prior to joining FLS, he served as a programme supervisor at Boys’ Town Singapore; a counsellor at the Moral Family Service Centre; a coordinator for the Syariah Court’s Marriage Counselling Programme; a facilitator and coordinator for schools’ “Step-up” programmme, a joint effort between the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sport (MCYS), to strengthen a student’s social and emotional resilience so that parents and teachers can better manage and support them.  Vijoo, speaks English, Malayalam and Tamil, and has handled counselling services in family violence cases that are referred by the Family Court.
