Jeremy is an Audit Partner with Deloitte Singapore. He was a member of the Southeast Asia Audit Executive Committee.  He was the Southeast Asia Audit Clients & Market leader and the Real Estate Sector leader.  

 

Jeremy has more than 30 years of experience in Public Accounting in Singapore, including two years in the United States. He has extensive experience in the audits of large multinational companies (MNC) and local companies spanning various industries, in particularly, the Real Estate, Consumer Business and Manufacturing sectors. He had also advised companies (including REITs) on their IPOs on the Singapore Exchange.  

 

Jeremy graduated from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons). He is a Practicing Member of the Institute of Public Accountants of Singapore (ISCA). He had also served for 3 full terms of 6 years as a member of ACRA’s Complaints & Disciplinary Panel and ISCA’s Financial Reporting Committee.

Dr Lim has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare sector, both as a medical practitioner and in managing hospital businesses. He has practiced internal medicine and cardiology at Mt Elizabeth Hospital,  Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He was formerly MD of IHH Healthcare Berhard and CEO of Parkway Holdings Ltd. 

 

He had been a director on several commercial and nonprofit boards. He is currently the chairman of the Kidney Dialysis Foundation, a member of the NUS President’s Advancedment Advisory Council, and Chairman of the Disciplinary Tribunal of the Singapore Medical Council. 

 

He worships at St Ignatius Church. He is currently an advisor to the Catholic Foundation, Catholic Preschool Education (Singapore) and Jesuit Refugee Services. He was formerly a member of the Archdiocese Strategic Planning & Resources group.

Willie Cheng

His publications include the Doing Good series – Doing Good Well, Doing Good Better and Doing Good Great – as well as other works on non‐profit and corporate governance. Most recently, he published his first work of fiction: Crossings: The Best Hainanese Chicken Rice and Other Life Dilemmas.

Martha spent the first 18 years of her career in the civil service specializing in regulatory and compliance functions, policy and legislative reviews, and corporate governance within the charity sector. 

 

Transitioning her focus, Martha's passion for social welfare has led her to the field of social work. From 2021 to 2025, she oversees the investigations of child abuse cases and managing intervention aimed at reintegrating and restoring families. 

 

Continuing with her service in journeying with families in need, Martha is currently the Deputy Director with the Gambling Safeguards unit, Secretary to the National Council of Problem Gambling.  

 

She chairs the Board of Trustee of CFL Lumens Trust and is a member of the Archdiocese Governance and Structures Council. She's recently appointed member of the Board of Caritas Singapore. Martha also serves in the Hospitality Ministry at the Catholic Spirituality Centre.

Dr Irena Kit Phey Ling - Secretary

Senior Lecturer at National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University

Appointed into the Board of Directors on 1 January 2021. Chairperson of the Counselling Committee, Chairperson of the Pregnancy Crisis and Service Committee, Member of the Executive Committee and Member of the Children and Youth Taskforce. 

 

Irena is a practicing counselling psychologist, and co-author of the book, “The Undefeated Parent: A guide to managing children’s stress”. Her current clinical work includes the provision of psychotherapy and psycho-education assessment and intervention services to the school-aged population and psychiatric patients, as well as coaching and counselling services to adult, adolescent and child corporate clients.   

 

In addition, she was appointed to the Board of the Catholic Family Life (formerly known as Family Life Society), with the role of overseeing the provision of counselling services, and pregnancy crisis and support, since October 2017.   As an academic, Irena is currently a senior lecturer with the Psychological Studies Academic Group at the National Institute of Education.  She is the Programme Leader for the Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) Program.  Her role comprises training and supervising pre-service teachers, trainee school counsellors, trainee counselling psychologists and trainee educational psychologists.  She also counsels student teachers in crisis, and co-managed the NIE Wellness Centre from January 2007 to June 2016.

Irena is a practicing counselling psychologist, and co-author of the book, “The Undefeated Parent: A guide to managing children’s stress”. Her current clinical work includes the provision of psychotherapy and psycho-education assessment and intervention services to the school-aged population and psychiatric patients, as well as coaching and counselling services to adult, adolescent and child corporate clients.   

 

In addition, she was appointed to the Board of the Catholic Family Life (formerly known as Family Life Society), with the role of overseeing the provision of counselling services, and pregnancy crisis and support, since October 2017.   As an academic, Irena is currently a senior lecturer with the Psychological Studies Academic Group at the National Institute of Education.  She is the Programme Leader for the Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) Program.  Her role comprises training and supervising pre-service teachers, trainee school counsellors, trainee counselling psychologists and trainee educational psychologists.  She also counsels student teachers in crisis, and co-managed the NIE Wellness Centre from January 2007 to June 2016.

He is Vice President at the National Council of Social Service where he chairs the Services Committee and serves as a member on Executive Committee.
