Part 1: Our Mission as Parents (11 April 2026)
This talk will cover the role of Catholic parents, namely to be the primary evangelisers of our children, what we are to do to exercise this responsibility, and how we can go about doing it, so that our children can find true happiness and flourish in accordance with God’s wonderful plan for each and every one of them. It will outline parents' fulfilling our mission through living out the baptismal call to be priest, prophet and king in the family.
There will also be a discussion on catholic parenting in the digital age.
Part 2: Helping Our Children Find Happiness (9 May 2026)
This talk will discuss the meaning of life and the pursuit of happiness. It will explore who we are, what we are destined for, and how we are to live our life in a way that will help us (and our children) find true happiness.
By drawing on the richness of the teaching from Gaudium et Spes – “man can fully discover his true self only in a sincere giving of himself” (GS, n. 24) - the talk will explore what we are truly longing for, and what in the end will give us meaning in life - a deeper relationship with God and loving as He loves. As Catholic parents, we play a crucial role in forming our children in the faith and virtues as “teaching witnesses”.
