More than 20 participants attended the virtual talk, 5 Tips to Easily Motivate Your Child for Success, on 19 January 2023.

Andrew Soong, a behavioural analyst with more than 15 years of experience, shared his reflections as a father of two adult sons. He described parenting as “a journey, rather than a destination”. He emphasised the importance of investing time and effort to “inculcate the right values in our children from young as they will become the parents of tomorrow”.

All parents want the best for their children. Many would associate success with academic achievements, high paying job and wealth. Yet, there are other ways to define success and factors that can motivate our children to be successful in life, for example developing strong relationships and having the right values. The participants were given 5 tips on what they can do as a family to nurture values over time.
