Getting Married: in Church or as Church?
This session explores the Catholic understanding of marriage as both a sacrament celebrated within the Church and as a lifelong commitment that embodies the Church's mission. Participants will delve into the significance of marriage in the Catholic tradition, examining how the sacrament of Matrimony not only unites a couple but also calls them to live out their faith as a "domestic church."
What does it mean to be married "as the Church"? How can marriages become a living sacrament? What's the difference between a wedding in the church and a marriage that lives out the church's mission?
