CFL Pro-Bono Counselling

Providing pro-bono counselling services

to anyone who requires support

Back to Home

WHO WE ARE

Catholic Family Life Pro-Bono Counselling (CFL PBC) was started in 2006 to provide free counselling services to anyone who requires support. Our volunteers include Hotline Support members and counsellors with formal counselling training and are ready to provide a listening ear. Our service is offered at locations mainly at the Catholic churches due to logistics and cost considerations, as we are a charity that relies on donations. In recent years, we have begun to offer pro-bono counselling services at some community centres in Singapore.

OUR VISION

"To be a community grounded in faith, uplifting each other, proficient in counselling, bring hope and healing to families, couples and individuals facing life's challenges."

Our vision guides us towards building our community and for members to support one another. This includes programmes and activities for bonding such as retreat, day of reflection, and community day.

CFL PBC also provides monthly group supervision and quarterly training for all volunteers to build proficiency and ability so as to support families, couples and individuals.
