BUILDING STRONG FAMILIES IN SINGAPORE
ABOUT OUR STUDY
Families are a work-in-progress, and we can always find beauty in the imperfections.
With the aim of exploring the question of "How can we support and strengthen the family unit in Singapore?", Catholic Family Life is embarking on an NCSS-funded study to help the sector understand family strength, the realities of families at different life stages, and the current resources available to support families. We believe that all families have their own areas of strength that they can tap on when facing adversities. At the end of the study, we hope to contribute to the family scene via family-based resources that can help families strengthen their foundation.
We want to hear the joys and the woes of family life from you! Join us as we discover what makes for a strong foundation in our families today.
PHASE 2 SURVEY
Our survey phase will explore areas of family life, areas of challenges, and factors that are associated with strong relationships in Singapore. If you take part, you will be asked to fill out 1 survey – exploring aspects and characteristics related to strong families and relationships, challenges and stressors faced by families, not limited to family communication patterns, family conflict resolution, and any other areas of family life. The core belief is that all families have strengths and the capability to face challenges and grow from it.
