Synopsis

I Am Made for More is a youth sexuality programme developed with Rev. Fr David Garcia, OP. in 2013, as a response to the needs of our time.

It invites youths to rethink relationships through dialogues on the philosophy of intimacy and the human person. The programme shifts the conversation from moral rules to deeper questions on our decisions and who we want to be.

Made for More is conducted by trained facilitators who are passionate about sharing an integrated vision of sexuality to our youth and children. A sperate spin-off My Child is Made For More is also conducted to empower parents on this topic.

Synopsis

This is an experiential workshop, creating a space for the children to explore and be aware of their own and each other’s’ giftedness. Enabling our children, who are of value and dignity, to make value-based discernment in choosing their friends, and seed planning relating to relationship and intimacy.

Geraldine Wee has practiced theatre for the last 20 years, performing, writing, directing and using the therapeutic nature of drama to empower youth and community groups. She uses techniques from drama therapy, psychodrama and sociodrama to conduct Experiential workshops for personal growth.

Synopsis

Carmen Tan has been giving talks and workshops on gender and identity to teens and adults since 2016. She also runs cultural programmes for youths, under the umbrella of Social Enterprise for Education and Development Limited, a non-profit organisation that supports virtues-based cultural programmes for girls that complement their home education and prepares them to serve society in positive ways. Carmen has a Bachelor in Theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome) and a Master in Applied Linguistics.
